1. About these terms
Koumen Indicators is operated by Ning Fei, an individual seller based in Nanjing, China (“we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of indicators.koumen.net and any paid subscription bought through it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. What the service is
Koumen Indicators publishes calculated statistics built from public-domain United States government data. Each indicator page shows a current reading, the historical series, the position of the current value within its own history, and an explanation of how the figure is derived. The service is a website; nothing is shipped and no software is installed on your device.
3. Accounts and access
Access is tied to the email address used at checkout. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox, and for any use of the site made under your address. Please do not share access: the subscription is for one person, and simultaneous use from many locations may be treated as sharing.
4. Free and paid access
Every indicator page can be read without an account, including the full historical series and the methodology. The free view withholds the most recent observations. A paid subscription unlocks those observations, the percentile extremes, overlays and email alerts. We may adjust which observations are withheld, but we will not reduce the paid tier to something materially less than described on the pricing page at the time you subscribed.
5. Subscriptions, trials and renewal
Premium is offered as an annual subscription at USD 49 per year after a 7-day free trial, or as a two-year prepayment at USD 89. The trial begins at checkout; if you cancel before it ends, nothing is charged. Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the price in effect at renewal until cancelled. We email before each renewal. You can cancel at any time using the link in your receipt email or by writing to us; cancellation stops future charges and access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
6. Payment, taxes, and who you are buying from
Creem acts as merchant of record for every sale. This means the sale is legally made by Creem, not by us. Creem processes the payment, calculates and remits sales tax, VAT and GST, and issues the invoice and receipt. Your card statement will show Creem. All prices are in US dollars. Creem’s own terms apply to the payment itself.
7. Refunds
Refunds are available within 14 days of a charge, without requiring a reason. The full policy is on the refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to resell or redistribute the service or its data, scrape it at volume, attempt to bypass the paid tier by technical means, share credentials, or use the output to build a competing product. Ordinary browsing, and quoting individual figures with attribution, are both fine. We may rate-limit or block traffic that threatens the availability of the site for others.
9. Intellectual property
The site design, the written explanations, and the calculated series are ours. The underlying source data is public domain and stays public domain — we claim nothing over it. You may cite individual figures with attribution to Koumen Indicators.
10. Market data and no investment advice
Everything on this site is informational and educational. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation, not a solicitation to buy or sell any security, and not a forecast. We are not registered as an investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or with any state or foreign regulator, we do not know your financial circumstances, and we do not manage money or place trades on anyone’s behalf. Data may be delayed, incomplete, revised by the original publisher, or affected by calculation error. Before acting on anything you read here, check it against the primary source. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.
11. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to update every series daily but do not guarantee uptime, publication times, or that any particular indicator will remain available. We may add, change or retire indicators. If we retire one, we will not pro-rate a refund for it, but the remainder of your subscription continues unaffected.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits or trading losses.
13. Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to serve you would put the service at risk. Where a suspension is not caused by your breach, we will refund the unused portion. You may stop using the service at any time.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in the country where you live.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated version.
