Who is responsible for your data
Koumen Indicators is run by Ning Fei, an individual seller based in Nanjing, China. For anything in this policy, write to indicators@koumen.net.
What we collect
- Email address — given at checkout, or when you use the account recovery page. This is how your subscription is identified.
- A session cookie — a signed token that keeps you signed in (see below).
- Server logs — IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and timestamp, recorded automatically by the web server.
- Aggregate page counts — how many times a page was opened, without identifying individuals.
What we do not collect
We never see or store card numbers, bank details or billing addresses. Payment details are entered on Creem’s checkout, not on our site. We do not use advertising networks, cross-site trackers, session recording, or third-party analytics that build profiles of visitors.
Payment data
Creem is the merchant of record for every purchase and is the controller of the payment data you give at checkout. Creem’s own privacy policy applies to that data. We receive only the email address, the amount, and the subscription or licence reference needed to give you access.
Cookies
We set one cookie, named kt_lic. It holds a signed token that identifies your
subscription, is marked HttpOnly and Secure, and expires on its own. It is what keeps you signed in.
There are no advertising, social or cross-site cookies on this site. Clearing the cookie signs you out;
it does not cancel your subscription.
Why we process your data
- To perform our contract with you — giving you the access you paid for, and letting you recover it if you lose the link.
- Our legitimate interests — keeping the site secure, preventing abuse and fraud, and understanding in aggregate which pages are used.
- Legal obligations — invoices and tax records, which Creem holds as merchant of record.
Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to run the service: our hosting provider (servers we operate), Creem for payments, and our email provider for correspondence. Data may be processed outside the country you live in. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
Your email and subscription record are kept while the subscription is active, and afterwards for as long as needed to honour the licence you bought, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal obligation. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then discarded.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Write to us and we will act on a reasonable request. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the rights set out in the CCPA — note that we do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Subscription records store a hash of your access token rather than the token itself, and data files are not publicly reachable. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of personal data we hold deliberately small, which is the most reliable protection there is.
Children
The service is meant for adults and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If this policy changes materially, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
